The Berkeley American Civil Liberties Union (BACLU) is a UC Berkeley undergraduate student organization and college chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Membership is open to currently-registered students, faculty, and staff.

The ACLU litigates, lobbies, and informs in order to preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States. It is the nation's largest non-profit law firm and one of the leading activist organizations.

Bulletins

BACLU publishes objective bulletins summarizing news that relates to the key issues of the ACLU. The views and opinions expressed herein do not necessarily reflect those of the organization, UC Berkeley, or the ACLU.

Meetings
